Sachiko Kobayashi
Sachiko Kobayashi is a Latina artist and illustrator focusing on botany, from Lima, Peru. Her main inspiration is the botanical world and its relationship with people. Sachiko is interested in the way in which all of us can see ourselves in a plant, how they awaken particular emotions or sensations and remind us of special moments and people.
For creating her designs, Sachiko opts for plants that have special meaning for her. She generally leans towards medicinal plants or plants with cultural importance. Another part of her creation is illustrating plants that remind her of beloved people. She strives to reflect the personalities of plants in her portraits of people
