Anthurium Veitchii Narrow Type ~ Medium

Anthurium veitchii, often called the King Anthurium, is known for its long, hanging leaves and distinctive ribbed texture. This narrow-leaf form has an elongated, slender look that gives it a different character from broader-leaf types. As the plant grows, its leaves can become much longer, creating the dramatic, cascading appearance that makes this Anthurium so recognizable.

Native to Colombia, Anthurium veitchii grows naturally as an epiphyte in tropical forest environments, where it can grow on other plants rather than directly in the ground. Its long, pendulous foliage is adapted to life in these warm, humid environments, bringing a touch of the tropical forest into your home.

This plant appreciates bright, indirect light, warmth, humidity, and good airflow. An airy, chunky aroid mix helps the roots breathe while retaining some moisture. Keep the substrate lightly moist without allowing it to stay soggy, and give it consistent conditions as it settles into its new home.
