Anthurium sp. “Silver Peru” ~ Medium

Anthurium sp. “Silver Peru” stands out for its elegant foliage, with elongated leaves and silvery tones that catch the eye. Its understated beauty makes it a lovely choice for collectors who appreciate the details and variety found in tropical plants.

Associated with Peru through its collector name, this Anthurium is part of the fascinating world of tropical aroids. The name “Silver Peru” is used in the plant trade rather than as a confirmed scientific species name, so its exact botanical identity and natural habitat remain unverified. Its distinctive foliage makes it an interesting addition to an indoor jungle, especially for those drawn to unusual Anthuriums.

This plant appreciates bright, indirect light, warmth, humidity, and good airflow. An airy, chunky aroid mix helps the roots breathe while retaining some moisture. Keep the substrate lightly moist without allowing it to remain soggy, and give it consistent conditions as it settles into its new home.
