Anthurium Pallidiflorum ~ Medium

Also known as the strap-leaf Anthurium, Anthurium pallidiflorum is an epiphytic species native to Ecuador. Instead of the classic heart-shaped leaves many Anthuriums are known for, this one grows long, narrow leaves that naturally hang and move as the plant grows. Give it a little space, and those leaves can create a beautiful cascading effect.

It enjoys bright, indirect light, warmth, humidity, and an airy growing mix that allows plenty of air around the roots. Like many Anthuriums, it appreciates consistency more than fussing—give it good conditions and let it grow at its own pace.

And this one already has plenty of foliage to enjoy. This plant has 5 leaves, ranging from approximately 5.5–9.5 inches (14–24 cm). As it grows, those strap-like leaves will continue to develop their own beautiful shape and movement.

Plant Size

This Anthurium pallidiflorum comes in a 4-inch pot. It currently has 5 leaves, measuring approximately 5.5–9.5 inches (14–24 cm).
